Gas Credit Cards- Worth It or Not?
On the Fourth of July in 2008, there were more than fireworks shooting up into the sky… oil prices had skyrocketed to the stratosphere! On July 3rd of that year, they hit a record high of $145.29/barrel. Maybe you don’t remember the exact day this record was set, but you certainly remembered the outrageous prices at the pump that summer!
While this was occurring, businesses small and large were using this to their advantage; offering customers free and discount gas incentives. Many stores would entice you with a free gas card for large purchases. Meanwhile car manufacturers like Chrysler were guaranteeing...
NASCAR iRacing
The start of NASCAR season is just three weeks away. There will be more than a few unhappy wives on Valentine's Day when their husbands spend the whole afternoon glued to the TV watching the Daytona 500.
You don't have to wait until the 14th, however, to get your NASCAR fix. On February 9th, NASCAR will begin a first of its kind racing experience known as iRacing. iRacing is a new service that will allow regular NASCAR fans to compete in online races against each other AND actual NASCAR pros, including no less than Dale Earnhardt, Jr. himself.

The Cope Twins
This week's driver profile is a special, bonus three for one profile featuring Derrike, Amber, and Angela Cope.
Derrike Cope is not among the most well-known NASCAR drivers, but he does have a considerable resume. He has competed in over 400 Cup races in his long career. He won the Daytona 500 waaaaaay back in 1990, which is not for nothing.
Since then, it has been all downhill. He tried to run his own team in six Sprint Cup races last year but failed to qualify for any of them.
Although he hasn't contributed much to NASCAR in recent years, he now...

We've already discussed Jimmie Johnson's historic dominance of the sport. In the coming weeks we'll look at some of the top runners up in the Sprint Cup Chase, in no particular order. Starting today with the man who finished fifth in the 2009 standings: Denny Hamlin.
Denny Hamlin and his FedEx Express car made an impressive showing...
Greatest Movie Cars of All Time
After I posted my list of the greatest TV cars of all time, an alert reader asked, "What about the greatest movie cars of all time?" As I live to serve, I present here my comprehensive list of the greatest cars from the history of movies:
The Trans Am from Smokey and the Bandit.
That's it.
The black and gold, phoenix-adorned, T-topped muscle car stands alone in my mind as THE most iconic car in cinema history. That Trans Am goes beyond cinematic significance. It is really emblematic of the 70s culture.
Since the list...
