Auto Club 500

Is it just me, or is Jimmie Johnson now the Tiger Woods of Stock Car Racing? Not in the sleazy womanizer who can't drive sense. But in the best in his field, so much better than everyone else that all you can do is wonder who'll come in second, make you want to root against him even though he's probably a perfectly nice guy way. Although, when I speculated that Tiger was a perfectly nice guy, I may have been wrong.

Questions from the Daytona 500
February 16th, 2010 - by Ronald A. Rowe | Car News
What a great race! We waited all winter for the return of NASCAR, and the Daytona 500 certainly did not disappoint this year. This year's running of the greatest race in sports did bring to mind a few questions, though.
#1 Why do kids love Dale Earnhardt, Jr. so much? I mean really, every kid I know loves Junior. My nine year old was screaming on the last lap when Junior made a push for it. I'll admit, I may have yelled a little myself. It was an awesome finish.

Daytona 500

Mark Martin knows where he’ll be sitting when the Daytona 500 opens next week. His car already is sitting at the pole, just waiting for the race to begin. Martin has been a qualifying machine throughout his career, with 49 poles – 7 last year alone, but this is his first time leading the pack at the Daytona 500. Dale Earnhardt, Jr., also no stranger to the front row, will be in the next car over. It’s safe to say that Hendrick Motors is feeling good about owning all of the front row for the biggest race in NASCAR.

2010 NASCAR Predictions
February 2nd, 2010 - by Ronald A. Rowe | NASCAR
The 2010 NASCAR season is almost here! The Bud Daytona Shootout is just days away. As we look forward to another great season of stock car racing, here are a few predictions for 2010.
#1 - Danica Patrick will make a splash. I think she's going to be a better NASCAR driver than she is Indy Car. A little on-track success could go a very long way for Ms. Patrick with the NASCAR crowd. My prediction is that 2010 will be the last 'limited participation' season for Dale Jr.'s newest protege.
#2 - Jimmie Johnson will fade. Not to say that
