We have started a search for a new car. Having been a minivan owner for the past 9 years, I am more than ready to be done with that model. However, we need a vehicle that can hold up to 6 passengers, as there are times when all 4 kids are home. With so many different cars for sale, we have lots of options, including whether we want to buy a Nissan Pao. We can purchase a large SUV that would allow us to travel in comfort. We also could purchase a crossover SUV that would offer the seating we need but with better gas mileage. There also are some sporty wagons that we could try.

I started this new car search by taking a Toyota Sequoia for a test drive. I decided to take the Limited model with 4-wheel drive for a spin. this one had hot wheels and tires. The first thing I observed when entering the vehicle was its roominess. Whether you sat in the first, second, or third row, you had plenty of leg room. The next thing I noticed was how comfortable this vehicle is. Although it is built on a truck frame, it sure feels more like a luxury sedan.

Once driving the Sequoia I was able to appreciate its smooth ride. Driving on the highway, it accelerated nicely. Driving it on city streets, it moved well for such a large vehicle, able to change lanes gracefully. Although I am not a professional driver, I want a vehicle that moves at a good pace and has responsive handling.

Liking both the look and function of this vehicle, its mileage and price needed to be considered. This vehicle will cost approximately $50,000 with all of the features that we would want. Plus, with gas mileage of 13 mpg for city driving and 18 mpg for highway, this vehicle will need lots of fuel.

As this was the first vehicle test driven, we still have plenty to try. With the variety of autos for sale, we will be spending a fair amount of time driving an assortment of vehicles. Then we will need to compare all of our options, and choose the perfect fit for us!
