In a major coup for General Motors, the completely redesigned 2008 Chevy Malibu won the Car of the Year at the Detroit Auto Show. The newly designed car hopes to take on the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord in the ever popular and hard-contested sedan area.
The Malibu's interior has a twin-cockpit design that mimics classic Chevrolet Corvettes. Its exterior shape, with smooth sides, wide rear window pillars and side turn signals, is intended to resemble European luxury sedans.
