“The King’s” 71′ Cuda (Not)

March 10th, 2009 - by B Kenney | Car Show News, General Auto News
Elvis Presley loved muscle cars.

It was believed that "The King" owned a 1971 Plymouth Barracuda, which was going to be auctioned off in Texas at the Dan Kruse-Leake Collector Car Show and Auction.

The Barracuda is outlined in a fine yellow finish that is complimented by a black arrow design on the rear. The entire auto was in mint condition already but has been touched up by professionals before it will be auctioned off.

Auctioneers believed that the car was previously owned by Elvis Aaron Presley because it had a matching title and VIN number made out to the one and only.

Some people around the country, and world, have the luxury of an extra car or two lying around not in use. Scattered Autos sit unused here and there inside barns, sheds or garages, undiscovered and in near mint condition. At the Bonhams Retromobile auction in Paris (Feb. 7) a 1937 Bugatti 57S Atalante Coupe was sold for about $4.4 million U.S. dollars (3,417,500 euros). The car was discovered recently inside the garage of Dr. Harold Carr, a

The President and the Beast

February 10th, 2009 - by B Kenney | General Auto News, General Motors News
Now that Obama has been elected President of the United States, the White House security staff is working hard to increase protection for our new leader. Obama is the first black US president, after all. There is no telling what could happen to him during his run, especially when you consider the Bush/dangerous shoe incident.

In order to protect our president, the Secret Service has pushed a brand new limousine into commission (obviously not them personally), which is a very large Cadillac limo outfitted with a 5-inch thick body frame, 8-inch-thick doors, run-flat tires, a completely sealed cabin and super thick
