There are a couple of things that can define the concept of the “American Dream”: a very nice car and a big house. I suggest we skip the house part for a moment just because the value of a regular house is dropping faster than President Obama’s approval rating after the infamous “Stimulus Package.” That being said, the car aspect is very important in the American society; practically everyone has one. The car that has captured Americans’ attention for last decade is the Cadillac Escalade, a name that is inseparable with the two words “American Dream.”

Now, you don’t have to get an Escalade to achieve the “American Dream.” You can still achieve it with a pre-owned Toyota Camry–I mean, everyone has his or her own dreams. Anyway, out of all the beautiful and fabulous cars out there, the Escalade is possibly not only the most affordable and luxurious Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) out there, it is the most affordable and luxurious vehicle in the market. Notice affordable is the key word of that entire sentence because I know there are the Mercedes-Benz, BMWs, Porsches, Lamborghinis, and Aston Martins out there; let’s face it, you can own an Escalade without having to earn Tiger Woods’ salary.

The Escalade is a full-size SUV, it was first designed to counteract Ford’s Lincoln Navigator and other brands’ attempts to put excellent models of full size SUVs on the market in the new millennium. The Escalade first started production in 1999, sold under the brand GM, the cause of the Stimulus Package. The first model was built in Arlington, Texas, eight months after it was approved for production.

The Cadillac Escalade is such a nice car to drive because of its beautiful style on the outside and its excellent interior with many of its advanced standard features. Standard features include air conditioning with tri-zone climate controls, tilt faux wood & real leather-wrapped steering wheel with radio controls, heated front seats and heated 2nd-row seats, 14-way power front seats, memory system, remote engine start, premium sound system, 6-disc DVD changer, rear radio controls, compass, power lift-gate, and outside-temperature indicator.

The Escalade costs around $60,000; it is possibly the most affordable out of all these luxurious cars. With all of its excellent interior features and stylish outlook, this is the car that you might want to break your piggy bank for.
