What a great race!  We waited all winter for the return of NASCAR, and the Daytona 500 certainly did not disappoint this year.  This year's running of the greatest race in sports did bring to mind a few questions, though. #1 Why do kids love Dale Earnhardt, Jr. so much?  I mean really, every kid I know loves Junior.  My nine year old was screaming on the last lap when Junior made a push for it.  I'll admit, I may have yelled a little myself.  It was an awesome finish. #2 Did you notice the Elliot- Logano crash that set up the...

You don't have to be a basketball fan to know that Michael Jordan led the Chicago Bulls to three consecutive NBA championships.  Even those who never watch football remember Tom Brady and his New England Patriots winning three Super Bowls in four years.  It takes a lot to win a championship in professional sports.  It takes even more to stay at the top of the game for consecutive years. Even though she just signed a deal with Mario Andretti's team that will keep her in the Indy league for at least three more years, the contract does make provisions for Patrick to participate in a 'limited number' of races outside the IRL. I'm confident that Patrick is ready for NASCAR.  My question is, is NASCAR ready for Danica Patrick?  This is a sport...

picEveryone loves to rock 'n roll, or rap, on the road. But do you ever stop and wonder what kind of vehicles some of those band members drove around with all their money and fame? What did Elvis rock 'n roll in back in the day? What about Miley Cyrus or the Jonas Brothers? The 'Rock Stars’ Cars and Guitars 2' exhibit opens up May 16 at the Henry Ford museum in Dearborn, Michigan and will run until September 7. As it's the sequel, the return exhibit used the original Rock Stars’ Cars and Guitars' success to boost the featured memorabilia and...

Car Reviews,Car Show News,Web Site Reviews
pic There were many different cars unveiled at the New York auto show on April 7, but one of the most attractive was definitely the brand new Ferrari. The Ferrari 599XX and 599GTB Fiorano were on display in the Ferrari showroom. The 599XX is tuned completely for use on a race track, meaning nothing included in the auto is street legal. The 599XX has a recorded Fiorano lap time of 1 minute and 17 seconds flat. This baby also tops out at 700 horsepower and 9000RPMs. The unique race tuning means lighter body design and hardware, including a unique crankshaft, a lighter engine,...
